The process of finding the right catering service is crucial for the success of any good wedding reception. Everyone wants their special day to stand out! To be honest, as Jeryd and I started the search for the perfect caterer for our rustic wedding reception, everyone recommended Holly’s, but we really wanted barbecue! If you ask most people, they would say Holly’s Eventful Dining is the best catering in East Tennessee. After an exhaustive search for the best barbecue in the area, we were woefully disappointed that
all of the barbecue joints we tried left a lot to be desired when it came to side dishes. So we called Holly Hambright, and she met with us at our office. She quickly let us know that she could do almost anything we wanted. After agreeing to provide Archer’s barbecue pork, brisket, and jackfruit as the entrée, she went to work crafting a menu of sides and fixins’ that completes a feast that any barbecue lover would drool over. (She was even able to make several of the sides vegan.) We discovered that when working with Holly, she didn’t treat us like a business relationship. Her entire organization became immersed in every part of our big day, ensuring it would be perfect. From meeting with us to help us select the perfect menu to making suggestions that would help improve our reception and budget, the entire experience was phenomenal.
For the last 35 years, Executive Chef Holly Hambright has built her reputation as the premier source for event catering. From cooking for Presidents and Governors to the Queen of Thailand and Frank Sinatra, Holly is one of the most respected chefs to ever call East Tennessee home.
