With 20-years of expertise, DJ Stan Duh Man is known across the state as one of the most eclectic and best DJ’s in Tennessee. His real name is Stanford Augustus Stone and he began his music career at an early age in Sebring, Florida. In 1998, he moved to Knoxville where he began devoting his attention, full-time to his passion for music. In 2000, driven by that passion, he started his own entertainment company called Stan Duh Man Mobile Entertainment, a company focused on event promotions, event planning and of course, DJ services. As one of the most sought-after DJ’s in East Tennessee, we feel extremely privileged, that we were able to get him to agree to play at our reception. I met Stan several years ago by sheer coincidence. He was in our building talking to someone about the music for their upcoming wedding. He stopped by the school having an interest in pursuing massage as an additional career. We chatted a while that day and found out we knew a lot of people in common. Stan reentered our life when he enrolled in our massage school. Right off the bat, we could tell that Stan was fantastic guy. About half-way through his program, the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily closed our school for 10 weeks postponing his academic career. During Tennessee’s “Stay at Home” Executive Order, Stan proved he really was “duh man”! Almost daily, from late afternoon, until early morning, he played music and music videos on Facebook Live to entertain people and help them get through the isolation. Soon after Jeryd proposed, we began having serious 
discussion about our vision for the reception. For us, the reception, was the highlight of the whole shebang. We wanted to create an event that brought all of our favorite people together, to share in our special time. I kept thinking, “I really want Stan to be our DJ at the reception.” I had listened to his work during the lockdown and really liked his style. One of the things that Jeryd and I share is an obsession for music and dance. We believe that good music is at the heart of any memorable event. We approached Stan and surprisingly, he had the date open. He was ecstatic about helping us create our special time and gave us a lot of good advice. So, on Saturday October 2, 2021 at 6:00 PM, we will all get our boogie on, to DJ Stan Duh Man’s sweet tunes…umm…well I suppose those sweet tunes will be yours, as we’re asking everyone to tell us what your two favorite songs are when your RSVP.
